Prayer Requests

Brethren: please pray with me for the salvation of my daughters Danielle and Vanessa, my three-year-old granddaughter Esme; Esme's father Dane and his son, Adonis; Adonis' mother Lauren. God alone can bring beauty from ashes. Praise His glorious name. Thank you. May the Lord Jesus bless and keep you all in His tender-loving grace and mercy by the power of Holy Spirit God.

I would appreciate prayer on this. My friend Steve may be discharged today after hospitalization for Pancreatitis. I am going to assist him in getting back home and will soon get him some food; and or accompany him or get some meds down the street. First pray for wisdom as I have in regard to whether with some complesities of other health issues (clump on his lung; diabetes; gout; etc) that they don't discharge him prematurely. I also am likely in short order plan to give him a letter along with a final installment of money which should be enough for a few months at least (he is due to get Social Security in addition to current benefits in a year). I have given him thousands of dollars the last 2 and a half years and at this point it seems that he hasn't put full effort in finding a place he can live where he can get the care he needs and that is more affordable. I can't house him here as long as my Dad is living; and the place he told me is too dirty to consider that anyway. This is something I've considered for more than a year now; and admittedly it isn't any easier. I won't get into details of discussions we've had where he has allocated funds against what we agreed with; and some other careless things he has undertaken online that have cost money and caused ripoffs (he is an artist). I am respectful of his talent but he also has decided not to undertake what previously worked doing secular art (boats; etc). I suggested he could do Part time work online; etc. This is more than enough detail. It is possible somehow things can work out; for now I am planning to ask him for a few weeks incommunicado and not going to respond to phone calls (may get new number). This is not an easy decision; but I have gone through my own funds and money left came from inheritance and I want to use it wisely. I am certainly open to suggestions here; but want to live as Paul stated to owe no man anything; while still doing to others as He would have me do. Ultimately I believe this is for his own good. He does have some other friends; although a rather estranged family. This isn't a normal request and I certainly am expecting some disagreement; Thanks for your prayer; and I would appreciate prayer for my continuing and hopefully final evaluation for now on mly sugar levels (on Metformin at present they are going to see about Insulin).
